dc.description.abstractMoringa oleifera seeds have been extensively employed as agents in various problems, from economic and health-related ones. The moringa seed processing equipment, particularly the dehulling and oil extractor, is already used in the sector. However, it has yet to be used in a three-way process incorporating waste cake. The research aims to develop a machine that can dehull the shells from the kernels of moringa oleifera seeds, extract oil from the kernels and pelletize the waste once the previous two procedures have been completed. The process of designing the overall machine is first taken into consideration before fabrication. In preparation for the data gathering, the collection of seeds, the drying and the sorting of seeds are brought into the overall process. The percentage yield of oil is 36%, and the percentage yield of pellets is 75%. The general machine is 0.6 cubic meters in volume and has a feeding rate of 1.5 kg/hr.—and total efficiency of 66%. The produced moringa machine is found to be capable of dehulling the seeds, extracting the oils from the kernels and producing waste pellets in a continuous process.en_US
