dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study entitled "Students experiences in the classroom with LCD projectors: A phenomenological inquiry" was to collect and interpret the experiences of 42 education students brought by a phenomenon, the installation of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) projectors, how it is being used as a teaching tool and how it helped in students learning process. This utilized the phenomenological study which is a qualitative method of inquiry that study things in their natural settings, attempting to make sense of or interpret phenomena in terms of the meanings people bring to them. The data gathering was done through the use of Focus Group discussion (FGD) with the help of question guide or interview guide. Results showed that all the teachers of the research participants are utilizing LCD projectors during discussions and activities but seldom in quizzes. From the perspective of the students, LCD projectors greatly helped in their studies, it was perceived to be very convenient and less expensive in terms of reporting. However, for participants, absence of electricity and functional accessories. They believe that an immediate action from the administration and improvement of teachers' presentations would be the best antidote for the said dilemma. The findings may be useful for the awareness of UM Peñaplata College admin about the present conditions of the LCD projectors and for the teachers, in developing new ways in making presentations.en_US
