dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to determine the effect of listening to music on mathematics performance in Anonang Elementary School. This study was realized with the cooperation of a total of ninety-eight (98) pupils, forty-nine (49) pupils from controlled group and forty nine (49) pupils from experimental group, who were considered as respondents of the study. Employing experimental method as research design, questionnaire in gathering data with average weighted mean and T-test for independent samples as statistical tools. The mean gain scores of the experimental group which is 2.29 and the controlled group which is 2.08, P-value of .779, less than 0.05 which is the level of significance, this means that there is no significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group who are exposed in music and controlled group which are not exposed to music. Must find ways in order to enhance the mathematical skills of the learners in order to make way for the improvement of their performance in math and they should give constant monitoring to their learners in terms of mathematics lessons in order to give the right assessment. | en_US |
