dc.description.abstractThe study entitled factors affecting the income of street food vendors in Babak and Peñaplata District was conducted to determine the factors that affect the income of street food vendors. Through this study, the researcher were able to analyze, evaluate, organize and gather data accordingly. This study was realized with the cooperation of the 40 randomly selected vendors who were visibly present in Babak and Peñaplata district and were considered as respondents of this study. Twenty-one (21) of them were male and nineteen (19) were female. A descriptive type of research design was employed in this study. It is the method design to determine the factors that may affect the income of the vendors. Descriptive method is a non-experimental approach to research. No attempt to manipulate or control or interfere with the variables. Descriptive method measures a variable(s) as they exist naturally and the goal is to describe the variable(s). Based on the gathered data, the researchers found that, first; the demographic profile of the vendors consist of (1) gender; were most of the vendors are male, (2) age; were most of the vendors are at age of 37 and above, (3) status; were most of the vendors were married, (4) items sold; were most of the products being sold by the vendors were maruya, pyoks, fruits and assorted products such as junk foods and candies, second; factors affecting the income of the street food vendors, were most of the factor that affect the income of the vendors are weather. And last; the level of daily income of street food vendors affected by the factors was moderate.en_US
