| dc.description.abstract | The study entitled "Drivers' perception on single-motor conversion to tourism sidecar: basis for a local government initiated cooperative" was conducted to determine the perception of single-motor drivers about the conversion of their single-motor into tourism sidecar. Through this study, the researchers were able to analyze, evaluate, organize and gather data accordingly. This study was realized with the cooperation of 60 respondents who are the single-motor drivers in Babak District, Island Garden City of Samal. The descriptive research design was used in this study. This method revealed and measured the strength of the respondents' opinion, attitude, or behavior with regard to this study. Moreover, descriptive research was also very useful in surveying the demographical traits in the researchers' study. the study found out that most of the single-motor drivers belong to the age bracket of 53-57 it has a frequency of 11 and a percentage result of 18.33%. 38 of them are married, and all of them are registered drivers. The gathered data show that the single-motor drivers are willing to convert their single-motor into tourism sidecar. They believe that single-motor are more risky and not so safety. 58.33% said that they encountered accidents while driving their motorcycle for more than two times. | en_US |
