dc.description.abstractThe study entitled "Profile of most at risk in Island Garden City of Samal: basis for disaster risk management budget allocation" was conducted to determine if there are budget that allocate for the to 10 most at risk barangays in Island Garden City of Samal. This are the top 10 most at risk Barangay Adecor, Anonang, Aumbay, Cawag, Camudmud, Kaputian, Libuak, Pangubatan, Peñaplata and San Jose. The respondents were the Barangay Officials in the respective barangays. The researchers used descriptive method. Results of the study implied that there are budget allocated in Ambulance, Portable Generator set, First Aid, Food and water supplies. The local government has allocated funds to barangays in Island Garden City of Samal. All of theses aspects have been properly distributed to the respective barangays. These study show that there is a difference in terms of budget for Ambulance, Portable Generator Set, First Aid, Food and Water Supplies among barangays in Island Garden City of Samal.en_US
