The focus of this study is to determine the level of money beliefs of an individual. The study assessed the level of money beliefs of the people of the Island Garden City of Samal. Through this study, the researchers analyzed, evaluated, organized, and gathered data thoroughly. This study cooperated with two hundred (200) respondents of the Island Garden City of Samal. The type of research design that was used in this study is quantitative descriptive. A quantitative research study determines the level between the independent and dependent variables within a population. A descriptive study establishes only associations between variables; an experimental study shows causality. The researcher adopted and modified the questionnaire from the study of Klontz (2009) Money Script Inventory (MSI), which utilized four distinct money belief patterns: money avoidance, money worship, money status, and money vigilance that will use for the study. The result revealed that money vigilance reached the highest category mean score of 3.62 or high among the indicators. In contrast, money avoidance obtained the lowest mean score of 3.01 with a detailed interpretation of moderate. Moreover, data showed that there is no significant level between money behavior and gender.en_US
