The study's objective at Nieves Villarica National High School was to examine the correlation between oral communication and learning engagement among Grade 12 students in the context of English language learning. The researchers conducted a survey using a descriptive-correlational research design. The data were gathered from a sample size of 197 respondents using the validated modified questionnaire. The researchers interpreted the data using statistical tools such as Mean and Pearson product-moment correlation. According to the findings, the level of oral communication of Grade 12 students is good. The result indicated that oral communication significantly affected the student's learning engagement. Furthermore, it showed that oral communication for the students should be interactive to boost their learning engagement. The researchers emphasize the need for future researchers to perform more research using learning engagement not included in the current study.en_US
