The study discussed the implementation of Gulayan sa Paaralan Program in Aumbay Elementary School, including the challenges and coping mechanisms in implementing GPP and how the implementation of GPP in AES is considered a success. This study utilized a qualitative single case study with two interviewed participants. Thematic analysis revealed the implementation, challenges, and coping mechanisms to evaluate the implementation of GPP and AES as a success. Results showed that to successfully implement the GPP, the GPP coordinator and principal collaborated with the internal and external stakeholders, they planned for the initial steps of the budget to cover the basic needs of the GPP and select the optimal location. Also, the findings of this study show that financial, plant growth, water supply, and conflicting schedules are the challenges of GPP coordinators and principals in implementing GPP, Furthermore, the GPP coordinator and principal can cope with their challenges by innovating solutions, planting strategies, installing water access, and allocating their own money. Moreover, implementing GPP in AES has been considered a success as it has benefits, developed the planting skills of the students, assisted the School-Based Feeding Program, and is widely recognized as a "hall of Famer." Nevertheless, this study suggests implications in various areas, especially in GPP implementation.en_US
