| dc.description.abstract | The study aimed to determine the level of skills, knowledge, and preparedness of Catagman Elementary School students in handling disasters. A descriptive quantitative research design was utilized in this study; Mean, T-Test, and ANOVA were utilized as the study's statistical tools, and the sampling technique used is universal sampling. A total of sixty-six elementary students from grade 4,5 and 6 were selected as respondents to this study. The study's findings uncovered that the level of skills, knowledge, and preparedness in Catagman Elementary School is high, suggesting that the student's skills, knowledge, and preparedness in handling disasters are often manifested. In addition, the result revealed that the sense of action readily perceives the students in times of disaster. Furthermore, there is no significant difference in their gender and grade level in the students of Catagman Elementary School. Therefore, the students are skillful, knowledgeable, and prepared enough for such a disaster. | en_US |
