This study investigates the influence of electricity power interruptions on beach resorts' profitability in the Island Garden City of Samal, Philippines. Through a descriptive correlational design, data were gathered from 85 registered beach resorts' owners and managers using a modified survey questionnaire. Mean, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Regression analysis were used as statistical tools. Findings reveal often electricity power interruptions, with outages and reliance on alternative sources being prevalent. Correlation analysis shows a positive correlation between outages, alternative power sources, and profitability, while power fluctuations showed no significant relationship. Regression analysis indicates that outages significantly influence profitability. The study aligns with the Energy Theory and Value and Input-Output theory, emphasizing energy's critical role in economic activity and value creation. Recommendation include infrastructure upgrades, awareness campaigns, and incentive for renewable energy adoption to mitigate the impact of power interruptions on beach resorts' profitability and promote sustainable tourism development. Future research should explore additional factors impacting beach resorts' performance for a comprehensive understanding and informed decision-making.en_US
