dc.description.abstractThis study aims to understand how the Teachers in Carmen National High School handle the challenges during flash flood. We have seven (7) participants for in-depth interview (IDI). This study used the qualitative phenomenological approach to acquire significant insights on how the Teachers perceived their experiences of having any difficulties during flash flood. Furthermore, the study conclusion show's Dealing with a disaster while ensuring the life safety of school administrators, teachers, and students, as well as prioritizing education is considered now as one of the community’s major concerns. Due to the fact that both natural and man-made disasters have the potential to disrupt schools, it is important to delineate the disaster, such as flooding. With this regard, the main objective of this study was to evaluate the school safety and emergency preparedness during flash floods. Specifically, it aims to determine the teacher’s experiences and strategies during flash floods. Furthermore, this study also presents the insights and lesson gained by the researchers through the experiences and strategies during flash floods. These insights help us better understand the complexities of emergency preparedness, allowing decision-makers to make well-informed decisions that improve cooperative outcomes between respondents and disadvantaged communities.en_US
