dc.description.abstractThis study investigated the relationship of wages and benefits on employee productivity of a beach Resort in island Garden City of Samal to ascertain the extent to which wages and benefits were provided to the employees and the level of employee productivity. This research employs a quantitative descriptive-correlational research design. The statistical tools utilized in this investigation were the mean and Pearson r. Survey questionnaires were distributed to 90 personnel at Cavanico II Ma Re Beach Resort to obtain the data. The results revealed that employees' wages and benefits generated a high mean score, indicating satisfaction. Regardless of having very high mean score, employee productivity was evident. In addition, a significant correlation existed between wages and benefits and employee productivity. To make employees more productive, Cavanico II Ma Re Beach Resort must maintain its strategy over time so that employees are indeed productive in their work.en_US
