dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to learn about the experiences of vehicle owners in Panabo City with the gas "price hike." Regardless of age or gender, the participants were five (5) for in-depth interviews (IDI). This study employed a phenomenological method in order to gain important insights into how vehicle owners recognized the "price hike" they experienced when buying gas. Additionally, the study's findings demonstrate how vehicle owners faced real financial difficulties, and the themes are about individual expenditure, household costs, the effect on the marketplace, and, foremost, their coping mechanisms when faced with gas price hikes, which are budgeting and expense management, fuel price monitoring and price comparison, and driving efficiently, which allowed them to stick to their budget. As gas prices rise and affect drivers' daily routines and budgets, they frequently have to make adjustments to their lifestyles and experience financial distress. It includes difficulties with budgeting and modifications to driving behaviors.
