dc.description.abstract | The study aims to know their knowledge, live experience, and process of growing lettuce in the backyard and how it helps to sustain their daily livelihood among the residents of Gk Nanyo, Panabo City, particularly those who have experience growing lettuce. This study used the phenomenological research approach to gain crucial insights into how the residents of Gk Nanyo perceived their different difficulties. Further, the study results show that gardeners experienced actual global challenges. Its aim is to eradicate the extreme poverty that they've experienced. The sustainability of their daily livelihood is poor and vulnerable. Hence, Gk nanyo residents are able to sustain their daily livelihood with the support of the government and agricultural management, as well as through the nearby communities visiting their village just to buy their lettuce. Further, the insights generated from the results are that gardeners are engaging in sustainable agriculture practices to motivate people to plant and maintain their lettuce gardens. These findings help the agricultural management, Gk nanyo residents who are having difficulty growing lettuce, the gardeners, parents, and future researchers as a basis to provide knowledge, provide solutions, and provide recommendations on how to address some difficulties experienced by Gk nanyo residents’ gardeners as future leaders in our country. | en_US |
