dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to assess the relationship between Disaster Preparedness and Mental Health among Employees in Panabo Golden Drops Development Corps. Disaster Preparedness was assessed in terms of Demographic Characteristics, public perception of climate change and operationalization. A non-experimental quantitative research design utilizing the descriptive correlation technique was employed to analyze the statistical relationship between these variables. 95 employees from Panabo Golden Drops Development Corps were selected as respondents using random sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires, ensuring reliability through Cronbach Alpha analysis and validity through the panel and research adviser reviews. Descriptive statistics, such as mean and standard deviations, were used to summarize and present the collected data. The overall mean for Assessing Disaster Preparedness was 4.21, indicated a high level of Disaster Preparedness, while mental health among employees got an overall mean of 2.48, also indicated as low. Additionally, the findings showed that there is no relationship between Assessing Disaster Preparedness and mental health among employees in the Panabo Golden Drops Development Corps.en_US
