dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the significant relationship between online shopping behavior and the financial management practices of selected college students at UM Panabo College. To answer this question, the researcher conducted a survey using a survey questionnaire containing questions about the students' online shopping behavior and their financial management practices, there is a total of 283 college students as the respondents of this research. The statistical tools used were mean, Pearson-r, and multiple regression. Purposive sampling will be utilized in the study since there exist criteria for which he or she shopped online. Results revealed that the level of online shopping behavior of selected college students in UM Panabo College in terms of domain-specific innovativeness was very high and attitude and subjective norms are both high. For the level of financial management practices of selected college students in terms of money management, expenditure, and liabilities/debt practices the results were high and the result in saving management practices was very high. Furthermore, the p-value result was 0.000 and the probability of domain-specific innovativeness, attitude, and subjective norms are 0.029, 0.000, and 0.000 respectively, which indicates that there is a significant relationship between online shopping behavior and financial management practices of selected college students in UM Panabo College. This study emphasizes the need to take into account that the practices in managing the finances of online shoppers depend on their behavior in online shopping. | en_US |
