dc.description.abstract | Financial incentives are practically playing a role in employees' work
engagement. This study determined a significant relationship between financial
incentives and employees' work engagement through a correlational quantitative
non-experimental research design. The respondents were the 100 employees
from selected shopping malls, using convenient sampling procedures.
Furthermore, adapted survey questionnaires were used to determine employees'
financial incentives and work engagement levels. The Mean and Pearson r was
the statistical tools used in the study. Results revealed that the level of financial
incentives and work engagement of shopping mall employees is high. The result
showed a significant relationship between bonuses, profit sharing, and work
engagement indicators but no significant relationship with a salary increase.
Thus, it is recommended that a promising scheme of annual midyear bonuses
and profit shares be implemented to promote employees' work engagement. | en_US |
