This study investigates the students’ disaster risk management at the University of Mindanao, and this would provide the needs of students to be informed and aware of the potential risk of a disaster or emergency, along with the employees of the institution, and to provide specific guidelines, strategies, and plans on how to respond in times of emergencies. Data was collected through a survey questionnaire and analyzed using statistical methods. The study used a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive research approach to look at the level of the student’s disaster risk management. The results revealed very high overall disaster risk management level among students. The overall computed mean and standard deviation of disaster risk management showed a very high descriptive interpretation. These results suggest that students are knowledgeable and capable of handling crises or disasters. Their expertise, abilities, and involvement can help build more resilient and disaster-prepared communities. Also, the results imply that students demonstrate a strong understanding of potential hazards, emergency procedures, and safety protocols.
