dc.description.abstract | This study was conducted to determine the level of students’ perception on fire safety education and practices on fire prevention invention in UM Bansalan College which served as the basis for the enhancement program. The study used a descriptive survey method of research. The respondents of the study were the 80 college and senior high school students in UM Bansalan College in the school year 2018-2019. Relative Frequency, Mean, and t-Test for Independent Samples were used as statistical tools. The result showed that the level of students’ perception on the fire safety education and practices on fire prevention intervention in terms of alerting the danger of fire, explaining the danger of fire, providing information on how to be safe from fire, using and installing fire preventive equipment, participation on training and seminars conducted, and adoption and compliance of fire safety requirements was very high. In addition, data showed that there was no significant difference in the level of students’ perception when group according to sex, however, results revealed a significant difference in perception level of students on the fire safety education and practices on fire prevention intervention when analyzed by department. Further, the school is encouraged to organize a fire safety awareness and fire drill seminar for both college and senior high school students. | en_US |
