dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted to determine the level of motivational factors and the level of performance of police personnel in Poblacion Magsaysay Davao del Sur. The researchers aimed to determine the significant relationship between the level of motivational factors and the level of performance of police personnel in Poblacion Magsaysay, Davao del Sur. The study was conducted using the descriptive-correlation method. The researchers personally administered the questionnaires to the police personnel of Poblacion Magsaysay Davao del Sur with participants as respondents. The result of the motivational factors was described as high, as well as the performance of police personnel. The significant relationship between the level motivational factors and the level of performance of police personnel in Poblacion Magsaysay Davao del Sur was tested at 0.05 level of significance. There was a significant relationship between the two variables in terms of workplace and environment between community safety and protection, as well as in advancement/training and development between crime prevention and detection control, salary and benefits package between crime prevention and detection/control. There is also an insignificant relationship between two variables in terms of workplace and environment between crime prevention and detection control, as well as in workplace and environment and crime prevention and detection/control. Advancement and training/development has no significant relationship between law enforcement, and also in advancement/training and development and community safety and protection. There is also no significant relationship between salary and benefits package and community safety and protection. The researchers recommend that the organization should give more attention to the workplace environment of police officers and that the organization should continue to sustain their high level of performance of their police duties.en_US
