Installation of CCTV and crime prevention in Poblacion Dos, Bansalan, Davao del Sur

Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the level of installation of CCTV and crime prevention in Poblacion Dos, Bansalan Davao del Sur. The researchers aimed to determine the significant relationship between the level of the installation of cctv and the level of crime prevention. The study was conducted using the descriptive-correlation method. The researchers personally administered the questionnaires to the residents of Poblacion Dos, Bansalan Davao del Sur with 100 participants as respondents. The result of the installation of cctv was described as high, as well as to crime prevention. The significant relationship between the level of the installation of CCTV and the level of crime prevention in Poblacion Dos, Bansalan Davao del Sur was tested at 0.05 level of significance. Thus, the decision on HO: was significant, which means that there was a significant relationship between the two variables. The researchers highly recommend that they must ensure that their surveillance/CCTV cameras are turned on and recorded for twenty-four (24) hours each day and seven (7) days each week. They shall keep a deposit of video recordings from their surveillance/CCTV cameras for a period of not less than sixty (60) days from the date recording.
