Finding the actual cause-and-effect relationships between individual parental acts and children's later behavior is extremely challenging. In this study, students will benefit from this through learning what are the effects of parenting styles on child’s behavior and it will help them by doing self-reflection on how their parents treat them or what parenting style they used to become what they are right now. This study used a quantitative non-experimental research design utilizing correlational technique. The respondents’ level on Parenting Styles among the parents of Barangay Mankilam, Tagum City is very high. This means that parenting styles are very much observed at all times among the parents of Barangay Mankilam, Tagum City. Among the four types of parenting, uninvolved has the highest mean score which means that some of the parents of Barangay Mankilam, Tagum City are having lack of connection between their children. In the light of the results and conclusions, the following recommendations are suggested; in raising your child you must always put into consideration how and what parenting styles are going to be applying in order to avoid such unnecessary and bad behavior of your child. If you're feeling like being authoritative, being authoritarian, being permissive, being uninvolved, or mixed reasonably parent should ensure that you're responsive to the possible reactions of your children towards your parenting styles.en_US
