dc.description.abstractThe intent of this study was to determine the significant influences of constructivist approach in museum to the social cultural learning of college student in UM Tagum College. Assessing the constructivist approach needs to be addressed because it will determine the social cultural learning of the college students outside the school promises. This study used a non-experimental quantitative research design with descriptive correlational technique. Mean, Pearson (r), and Regression Analysis were the statistical tools used for the data treatment. Result showed high level of constructivist approach in terms of personal context, sociological context, and physical context. The study also showed high level of sociocultural learning in terms of logical memory, conceptual thinking, and self-regulation learning. Moreover, there was a significant relationship between constructivist approach and sociocultural learning of college student in UM Tagum College. UM Tagum College may conduct a one-day field trip for all college students to assess themselves to enhance their learning, gain new knowledge and share memorable experiences. The field trip will provide an outlet for the students as well as a tool for them to improve their learning and developed new knowledge.en_US
