dc.description.abstract | This phenomenological study focuses on how teacher entrepreneurs deal with work and life balance with their family responsibilities and personal needs to sustain their business and live a meaningful and happy life in Tagum City, Davao del Norte. To gather more insights and interpretations about the phenomena, we conducted qualitative research and interviewed fourteen (14) teacher entrepreneurs in selected Secondary Schools in Tagum City. Three major themes were produced on the experiences of the participants. These are the experiences that shape the teacher entrepreneur's life that impact work and family life balance. The key driving force of the teachers to become an entrepreneur is task prioritization is how teacher entrepreneurs balance work and personal life. Meanwhile, conflicting schedules and added responsibilities are the major work and family conflicts that arise. These are difficulties on the lived experiences of teacher entrepreneurs that impact work and family life balance. The participants dealt with their challenges through proper time management, goal setting, and family time. On the insights of participants, five essential themes were generated. Meanwhile, side hustle, family relationship, productivity, determination, and passion these findings enrich the knowledge and help individuals concerning the phenomenon being studied. | en_US |
