dc.description.abstractThis narrative study explored the materials produced by the participants from the stories imparted about history and development of Barangay La Filipina, Tagum City. The said Barangay shows a big change especially in infrastructures, not only in infrastructures but also in their livelihoods and populations. The purpose of this study is to trace the historical background and development of Barangay La Filipina, Tagum City. To realize the purpose of this study, the researchers gathered data from the residents and Barangay official which are the participants of this study. It was revealed that the Barangay La Filipina encountered many challenges such as flood, controlling NPA group, the rough roads which gave them a problem especially when they are riding a vehicle. The history of Barangay La Filipina has played a significant role in todays development.en_US
