dc.description.abstract | The research study was on an emerging topic that was conceptualized to determine the significant relationship between destination service quality and tourist satisfaction on selected Inland Resort in Tagum City. The goals of the study were to evaluate the relationship between destination service quality in terms of Tangibles, Reliability, Assurance, Responsiveness, and Empathy. And tourist satisfaction in terms of Facilities, Accessibility, and Attraction; and to formulate an enhancement proposal based on the result of the study. The study used a quantitative non-experimental research design utilizing a correlation technique with 384 respondents and was surveyed through the survey questionnaire that was adaptive by the theory of Simon (2011) and gave his insight on using the correlation technique because it will determine and associate the relationship between two variables. Mean is the data treatment used for this study. Findings revealed that the destination service quality in the selected inland resort is high for tangible, high for Reliability, high for Assurance, high for Responsiveness, high for Empathy, and tourist satisfaction high for Facilities, high for Accessibility, high for Attractions. This means that the destination service quality and tourist satisfaction has a relationship. The outcome of this study shall be utilized as a basis for creating an enhancement proposal that helps the selected Inland Resort in Tagum City in developing its marketing strategies. | en_US |
