The influence of reflective thinking skills of police officers in Bansalan Davao del Sur on their organizational performance

Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the level of reflective thinking skills of police officers in Bansalan Davao del Sur on their organizational performance. The researchers aimed to determine the significant relationship between the level of reflective thinking skills of police officers in terms of ability to self-assess; awareness of how one learns; developing life-long skills; and influence of self-belief about self-efficacy. This study examined the outcome of a survey conducted to the officers in Bansalan Davao del Sur by employing a descriptive correlation method to determine the level of the organizational performance. The data analysis exposed high status and the analysis further showed that there is no significant relationship between reflective thinking skills and organizational performance of officers in Bansalan Davao del Sur, it is therefore recommended that the police officers have to continue finds motivations, proper work management and have strong interpersonal relations and included in workforce learning and capacity development interventions in the workplace to improve the quality and relevance of training in their field of work, in terms of ability to self-assess, awareness of how one learns; developing life-long skills; and influence of self-belief about self-efficacy. Lastly, further research may be conducted to explore other reflective thinking skills and organizational performance.
