dc.description.abstractReading is a tool skill, it affects the comprehension skill which helps the students to grow and widen their perspectives. The main thrust of this study was to find out the level of reading comprehension skills and lived experiences of Grade 4 students of Anibongan Elementary School. The students were selected through purposive sampling. The data were collected through survey questionnaires via google forms and interview guide via google meet this is to determine the level of reading comprehension, reading abilities and strategy use. This study employed a mixed methods research design utilizing a convergent parallel in which quantitative and qualitative data are merged to provide a comprehensive analysis of the level of reading comprehension skill and the lived experiences of grade 4 students. A total of 150 respondents and 15 participants was considered in the study. The result of this study reveals that, the convergence of the findings implies that both the respondents and the participants have the same assessment or belief that the level of reading comprehension skill is moderately observed in Anibongan Elementary School and this was corroborated with the qualitative themes. The implications of this study were offered to improved students reading comprehension skill in order to minimize their difficulties and maximize their comprehension towards reading.en_US
