Level of police professionalism and morality of police officers in Sasa Police Station

Abstract
This research paper was conducted to determine the level of police professionalism and morality of police officers in Sasa Police Station Davao City. The researchers employed descriptive survey method, and and self-made survey questionnaire which was used as the data collection instrument. The instrument used in the study was validated by the research adviser and three (3) validators from the faculty of College Criminal Justice Education. The statistical tools used by the respondents were Frequency percentage and Average Weighted Score (Mean) and Descriptive Rating was used to analyze the research result and ANOVA was used by the statistician to analyze the hypothesis. The findings of this study revealed that police officers assigned in Sasa Police Station are mostly young and male-dominated, which also manifested that they are just starting their young career as police officers. Moreover, police officers in Sasa Police Station always practice and observed police professionalism and morality. And lastly, length of service of police officers is a factor in providing significant differences in the level of professionalism and morality of police officers, while age and sex are on-factor.
