| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the relation of oral communication and public
speaking anxiety of criminology students with a four hundred respondents in
all year level of the College of Criminal Justice Education, University of
Mindanao. The researchers used the universal sampling method and
instrument being used is by a survey questionnaire signed by the research
advisers and three validators from the faculty of College of Criminal Justice
Education. The result of the research flaunted that most of the respondents
are male and most are in the year level bracket of 1st year level. The level of
oral communication of criminology students reached an overall mean of 4.22
with a standard deviation of 0.557 described as very high, while the level of
public speaking anxiety of criminology students has an overall mean rating of
4.18 with a standard deviation of 0.587 which is described as high. It showed
that there is a significant relationship between oral communication and public
speaking anxiety of criminology students described as very strong positive
relationship.
