The study entitled Study Habits and Classroom Performance of Criminology
Students aims to exercise the study habits and improve their classroom
performance Study habits and classroom performance was conducted at the
Criminology Department at the University of Mindanao. The respondents of this
study are 1st year to 4th-year Criminology students. The 1st year answered 97
questionnaires, 2nd year answered 103, 3rd year answered 39 questionnaires and
lastly, 4th year answered 61 questionnaires. The result of our first statement of the
problem in time management is 3.56, goal setting 3.65, attitude 3.56, concentration
3.37 and our overall is 3.53. The second statement of the problem in interest is 3.96;
group activity 3.79, exam writing 3.68 and our overall is 3.81. The result of this study
reveals that there is a strong positive relationship between study habits and
classroom performance of criminology students.
