This paper examines the genus Apomecyna, a group of longhorn beetles, in Pakistan. The authors review four species and formally describe two newly discovered species: Apomecyna minor sp. nov. and Apomecyna balochicus sp. nov. The study addresses long-standing taxonomic confusion in Pakistani Cerambycidae research, including incomplete historical records and outdated identification methods. Earlier classifications relied heavily on external body features such as antennal segment lengths, but this study adds detailed genitalia examinations, improving species identification accuracy.en_US
