| dc.description | This paper examines the genus Apomecyna, a group of longhorn beetles, in Pakistan. The authors review four species and formally describe two newly discovered species: Apomecyna minor sp. nov. and Apomecyna balochicus sp. nov.
The study addresses long-standing taxonomic confusion in Pakistani Cerambycidae research, including incomplete historical records and outdated identification methods.
