dc.description.abstract | This study was conducted to determine the experiences of LGBT hotel staff. The study utilized a purposive sampling technique. There were 7 participants for the in-depth interview and 7 participants for the focus group discussion who are the LGBT hotel staff. Responses from the participants were consolidated, encoded, and analyzed to answer the two major questions in this study. Qualitative data analysis was used in this study. Some emerging themes were identified and provided with narrative discussion. The study revealed the most of the LGBT hotel staff experienced learned in proper ways of serving, communication, and teamwork, become efficient, learned to handle pressure and developed their skills, etc. the first person who will always be there to support the LGBT hotel staff are their parents. | en_US |
