dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to determine the significant difference in financial behavior of household heads according to age, sex, educational, attainment, income, and working experience of household heads of Barangay Toril, Babak District, Island Garden City of Samal. It also aims to explore the financial attitude and management of the respondent this study employed quantitative research design. The statistical tools were Mean, T-test, and ANOVA. The hypothesis was at 0.05 level of significance. The data were gathered through the use of a survey questionnaire distributed to 400 household heads in Barangay Toril, Babak District, Island Garden City of Samal. Study findings indicated that in the financial behavior indicator, the variables such as age, income, educational attainment, and working experience have a significant difference in financial behavior. However, the sex indicator depicted as no significant difference in financial behavior. Thus,the hypothesis is accepted. It was further stressed that household heads of Barangay Toril were financially inadequate in displaying financial behavior. This study recommended that the Local Government Unit (LGU) initiate livelihood programs and training seminars so that household heads can be better individuals in the management of finances and spending money matters. | en_US |
