ENGAGEMENT AND JOB PERFORMANCE AMONG SELECTED EMPLOYEES OF PANABO MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE IN PANABO CITY
Abstract
This study aimed to examine the relationship between Engagement and Job Performance among selected employees of Panabo Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Panabo City. The independent variable of the study is Engagement with the indicators of commitment, loyalty and trust. The dependent variable of the study is Job Performance. This study applied a descriptive-correlation for sampling fifty selected employees of Panabo Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Panabo City. This study employed survey questionnaires of both variables. Moreover, the statistical tools used in interpretation of data were weighted mean and Person-r. The over-all mean for the level of employee engagement is 4.48 with the descriptive equivalent of very high which is indicated by commitment, loyalty and trust, with the mean of 4.50, 4.55 and 4.40 respectively while the level of job performance has an over-all mean of 4.55 with the descriptive equivalent of very high. The findings show that there is a significant relationship between engagement and job performance among selected employees of Panabao Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Panabo City.
